The short version: pay once, get a lifetime licence to use Carousel Studio. The app runs entirely on your own computer, on your own AI key — so what happens on your machine (including your content and its storage) is yours and your responsibility. You are responsible for what you generate and post. Questions and refunds: email us.

1. What you're buying

Carousel Studio is a local desktop application for macOS or Windows (10/11, 64-bit) — software you install and run on your own computer, not a web service or hosted platform. It turns news and topics into Instagram/Threads carousels and reels using your own AI provider key, and all generation and processing happens on your machine. A purchase is a one-time payment for a perpetual ("lifetime") licence — no subscription, no recurring charge — including free updates across version 1.x. The licence key is delivered on the post-purchase page and can be recovered any time by signing in with your purchase email.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us — the only purchase data we keep is your email and licence key (see the Privacy Policy).

By downloading, installing, or using the Carousel Studio application — the macOS .dmg or the Windows installer — you agree to these Terms of Service. The Windows installer is not yet code-signed: Windows SmartScreen will show a "Windows protected your PC" warning on first run, which you can proceed past via More info → Run anyway. We are in the process of completing code signing for Windows; this warning will be removed once it's in place.

2. Your licence

One licence is for one person or one company, on computers you own or control, on either platform.
You may use it for your own accounts and for client work.
You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly share your licence key, or offer Carousel Studio itself as a hosted service to third parties.
The free trial gives full functionality for its stated period, once per person — please don't circumvent it.

3. It runs on your computer — and on your AI key

Carousel Studio operates entirely locally. It connects to your chosen AI provider (Google Gemini or OpenRouter) and to news/media sources using your API key and account. You are responsible for:

your device, its disk space, and keeping the content you want — generations live only on your machine and clear after 48 hours; download what you want to keep, as we cannot restore it;
your AI provider costs and complying with your provider's terms of service;
the content you generate and publish — you are responsible for reviewing it for accuracy, rights, and compliance with each platform's rules before posting.

Any API keys you enter into Carousel Studio are stored locally on your machine only and are used solely to call your chosen provider directly from your computer — they are never transmitted to us. The app contains no telemetry, analytics, or tracking, and licence activation verifies offline. We store nothing of your app data on our side — the only things we hold server-side are the essentials of your purchase (your email and licence key; see the Privacy Policy) — and accordingly we are not responsible for any data stored on, or lost from, your own equipment.

4. Content & accuracy

Carousel Studio uses AI to research and draft content. AI can be wrong, and news moves fast. We make no promises about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of anything it generates, and we are not responsible for what you choose to publish. Always review before you post.

5. Third-party services

The AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenRouter, and any others), the stock/image services (e.g. Pexels, Higgsfield), and the scheduling backends (Buffer, Blotato) are third-party services that may change, limit, or discontinue their interfaces. We'll do our best to keep Carousel Studio working with them across 1.x updates, but we can't control them.

6. Refunds

If Carousel Studio isn't working out, email [email protected] from your purchase address — we handle refund requests promptly and fairly. A refund revokes the licence.

7. Warranty disclaimer & liability

Carousel Studio is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Questera Marketing's total liability arising out of or relating to Carousel Studio is limited to the amount you paid for your licence, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including loss of data stored on your own equipment.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page with its effective date. Changes are not retroactive to purchases already made — your lifetime licence stays a lifetime licence.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the app will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
